Sunrise Road Transport provides container transport, storage, and fumigation services throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Our services are provided subject to these Terms & Conditions and any written agreements between us and our clients.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting a service request, or engaging our transport or storage services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

3. Services Provided

We offer a range of professional logistics services, including:

  • Container transport and delivery
  • Container storage (short-term and long-term)
  • Fumigation and quarantine treatment services

All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services at our discretion.

4. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the client at the time of request.
  • Prices may vary if additional information, service requirements, or changes arise after a quote has been issued.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST.

5. Payments

  • Full payment is required within the agreed timeframe specified on the invoice.
  • We reserve the right to withhold or delay delivery or service completion until payment is received in full.
  • Late payments may incur additional charges or interest at a reasonable rate.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (via email) at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Rescheduling requests will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking our services.
  • Ensure containers and goods are ready for pickup or delivery as scheduled.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and safety requirements at your premises or delivery site.

We are not responsible for delays or costs arising from inaccurate details or access restrictions at the pickup or delivery location.

8. Liability

While we take every precaution to handle your goods safely:

  • Sunrise Road Transport is not liable for loss or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., accidents, weather conditions, port delays, industrial actions).
  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the re-supply of the service or the cost of the service provided, whichever is lesser, as permitted by law.
  • You are responsible for arranging adequate insurance coverage for your goods during transport or storage.

9. Fumigation and Compliance

All fumigation and quarantine-related services are carried out in accordance with Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and other relevant regulations.
Clients must disclose any hazardous or restricted materials prior to service. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or legal penalties.

10. Storage Terms

For container storage services:

  • Storage fees are charged as agreed upon booking.
  • Containers must be insured by the owner during the storage period.
  • Unpaid storage fees may result in the container being held or sold after reasonable notice, in accordance with Australian law.

11. Website Use

  • The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without written consent from Sunrise Road Transport.
  • We do not guarantee that our website will always be available or free from errors.

12. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our website or submitting information, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in that policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Sunrise Road Transport will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services or website.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in question.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within Victoria.
